Beware of cheap fireworks sold through non reputable temporary shops or market stalls. All fireworks sold in the UK should be made to British Standards. This ensures the safety of your firework and gives you reassurance that it has been properly safety tested. All fireworks sold in the UK must be either category 1 indoor fireworks, category 2 garden fireworks with a safety distance of 5 metres or category 3 25 metres safety distance. Category 4 fireworks are for professional display use only and cannot be sold to the public. All British Standard fireworks will have the safety distance on the packaging.
