There is an uplifting whistle section followed by time rain willows with green glitter. With loads of colour, glitter, crackles and whistles this is a display in a box not to be missed. Double Discounted Fireworks

880---AF80250
Not just once but twice…we have double discounted this years most popular huge sky filler the AF80 Max which you can now buy fireworks online. Boasting 30mm fanned tubes the largest legal size you can have and a maximum explosive weight of 1000g of powder. Not only do the stats add up but it actually delivers on performance and wow factor. It’s colours are vivid, strong and clear. On effects it excels on all levels. Its range includes huge crossettes, peony, crackling willow, brocades, glitter, strobes and many more. My favourite has to be the finale ending with a sky filling crossettes with a unique rain mine as a layer below which looks stunning. Why we are discounting this one I have no idea!

diawali

Happy Diwali! Tonight is the big night for celebrations (although there is still some dissent amongst our customers when the right day is). The celebration lasts for several days and all our customers are very excited about it falling on a weekend this year as it means the celebrations can really get going. Very popular in our shop and online store are our smaller colourful selection boxes and rockets. Sparklers are also a good choice with packs flying out the door. The majority of customers tend to buy lots and lots of smaller fireworks and buy one big one for the finale. Our pink diamonds fountain is very popular as are our Kimbolton selection boxes. Buy fireworks and ENJOY!

Monster Fireworks – safety tip 3

Thursday, October 15th, 2009

Read the instructions on each product and be aware of 5 (cat2) meter and 25 (cat3) meter recommend saftey distances. Some new products also have the new European 8m recomendation. You don’t want a 25m or catorgory 3 fireworks in a small back garden. It’s dangerous, if the winds in the wrong direction  the hot debris could fall over you and your audience. If you use larger 25m products make sure you have enough space and check your wind dirction. Some fireworks do have special instructions especial y some of the larger fan cakes which need to fired in a particular direction. So it’s always good to cheeck the instructions of each firework.

Monster Fireworks safety – tip 2

Wednesday, October 14th, 2009

Leave it for afterwards - it tastes better!

The last safety tip we posted was to use portfires to light your fireworks. This one is even simpler, don’t drink and ignite. Now we are not party poopers nor are we trying to ruin your fun – we enjoy a good booze like the rest of you but please stay safe this year and keep the booze consumption until after the main event. Nothing is less attractive or dangerous than a drunken attempt to light a firework – you’ll look stupid and could cause yourself or others a serious injury. Plus by boozing after the event you’ll have something to celebrate – an amazing fireworks display.

wheres my fireworks?

The sparkle has definitely gone for Royal Mail strike or no strike. Even if they come to some agreement the damage has already been done. Many large and small business including John Lewis, Amazon, eBay and Argos are to discuss using alternative delivery services over fears that the strike will seriously disrupt business. The good news is at Monster Fireworks we do not use the Royal Mail so our delivery and business is totally unaffected. Don’t worry you will get your fireworks in plenty time for Bonfire. Buy fireworks online as the stock is already moving so order early to avoid disappointment. You can even call to reserve your fireworks.

Essential choice for Diwali

The festival of colour and light is upon us once again. Just a couple of weekends separating the Guy Fawkes Bonfire season and Diwali makes it prime time to buy fireworks. We have a couple of suggestions that we would recommend for Diwali. On the budget end we have pack of 6 shooting stars roman candles which feature multiple colour effects and low volume, new for 2009 Chinese cracker type effects with 5000 crackles and light effects. And moving on up to the larger cakes our No.1 Choice is the Essential from absolute fireworks. Its effects include Blinking Rain, Gold Coconut with Glitter and blue, red, purple, green, silver colurs. It’s quality is so good it like watching a firework in HD!

bristol downs

Buy Fireworks – Do your own display!!!

This year’s Bristol Clifton Downs’ fireworks display has been cancelled due to lack of funding. A couple of years of bad weather coupled with sponsors demands for cash – despite low turnouts due to the weather- have caused the Bristol Rotary to cancel this year’s Clifton Downs display. It’s a real shame for fireworks lovers in Bristol as the shows were really good and very popular. BUT on the up-side why not forego the trek to the downs and have a display at home in your back garden for all your family and friends. We can give you the complete solution if you buy fireworks online or visit our shop. We will also keep you posted on any local displays…..
