Tesco do not sale fireworks at this time of year. We hear they use them as sweetener at Bonfire as part of their seasonal marketing campaign. The idea is to lure the shopper in with cheap or competitively priced seasonal products in order for the shopper to spend money in Tesco. It’s all part of the bigger game that the
supermarkets play Asda, Sainburys, Morrisons Aldi etc. Fireworks in this case are usually
targeted at the lower price end. Storage, sales area/space, and sales staff are set up for primarily selling food, health care
,electrical and booze etc everything but fireworks.
