Ice Fireworks Winter Olympics

FIREWORKS brought the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics to an end in a spectacular ceremony at the close of 17 days of competition. The final of the Vancouver Olympics was the men Hockey game some say the games of the games — made it 14 gold medals for Canada, the most any country has won at a Winter Games.

No wonder crowd surfing, lamb post climbing, and fireworks were the order of the night celebrating the Canadian victory — Human gridlock downtown Dancing on tables in bars. Fireworks erupting, cowbells clanging and flags waving on hockey sticks.

Singer Michael Bublé, starting out wearing Mountie gear, sang a patriotic tunes with giant inflated beavers, moose, Mounties, table-hockey players and maple leaves.
The uber-Canadiana act was followed by Nickelback, Avril Lavigne and Simple Plan. They were followed by Alanis Morissette, who performed a version of Wunderkind, as athletes hugged each other and waved their flags.Performances from Hedley, Marie-Mai, and k-os rounded out the closing ceremony, capped with a awsome fireworks display. No digitally enhanced fireworks here!
