The ten day festival sends up thousand of sky lanterns into the air – this year’s lantern was the tiger lantern, based on the Chinese new year of the Tiger. After an amazing ten days where sky lanterns were set off throughout the Country, the show ended with a spectacular fireworks display. The festival had some 6 million visitors and those for the closing fireworks show were also treated to a water fountain display, a light and floral scented show!
