British Firework Championships 2010

This year’s 2010 British Firework Championships held in Plymouth and was won hands down by Star fireworks. They mixed up an awesome display of pyrotechnic wizardry that was clearly World Class in scale and performance. Essex Fireworks, 1st Galaxy, Reaction Fireworks, SM Art Fireworks, Flash Point Fireworks were amongst the competitors with the team from Reaction taking the runner up position while First Galaxy were closely behind in 3rd. The Competition was run over two days or rather two evenings. The best viewing areas were from the Hoe and foreshore areas let’s hope next year’s events are just a successful. Free Firework Show on Friday 13th

Yes the havens or the interplanetary galactic hyperspace are putting on a FREE astronomical economical display on Friday the 13th this year. Be prepared for one of nature’s biggest, splashiest meteor showers of the year. Bristol Fireworks -Harbour Side Festival

Bristol’s Harbour side festival attracted thousands of people from all over and Saturday Night they were treated to the annual awesome buy Fireworks display. Fired from the roof tops of the water front buildings they could be seen and heard all over Bristol. I got a fantastic view from my attic window and could see the full spread of effects filling the sky. This year the fireworks for sale didn’t seem to go on for as long which was a bit of shame but they were still absolutely stunning. Last year the music or a least some of the music was by the Kings of Leon…I couldn’t here the music last night so let us know what it was?
